ABOUT US
Antiqua Street Dogs is a Guatemalan registered non-profit founded in 2015 and supported solely by donations. We are 100% volunteer-run with no paid staff and do not receive government funding.
OUR MISSION is to reduce the number of roaming street dogs and cats by offering low-cost clinics in underserved villages around La Antigua, Guatemala. We aim to not only reduce overpopulation but also ensure the health and safety of the animals and people in the community.

In the last three years, we have castrated 1,220 animals and prevented over 100,000 unwanted births.
Effective change begins with providing low-cost pet castration services to low-income families. While it's honorable to rescue animals off the street, it does not prevent unwanted dog and cat births. We work in partnership with community leaders and volunteers who share our philosophy that the only effective and humane way to manage the street animal population and reduce animal suffering is by castration.

It's a big job and not an easy one, but with your help and that of our dedicated supporters and volunteers, we can make a difference. Providing low-cost spay/neuter clinics to families who can barely afford to feed their children brings a smile to their faces.
